Our sales team plays a significant role in delivering dependable air power solutions to our customers. We sat down with two of our sales professionals, Øyvind Berbu and Øystein Bjørge, to learn how it is to work with sales in a global organization based in Ellingsøy, Norway.
– We are lucky to work with such a strong brand. I’m proud to represent Sperre Air Power no matter which continent I visit and I know that our customers will be satisfied with our solutions, Øyvind explains.
He joined the sales department three years ago after earning a gold watch for his 25 years-long service in his previous job. You can safely say he brought extensive experience to the team.
Comes for the job – stays for the culture
Øystein on the other hand, has grown with the company. He first entered the doors at Ellingsøya back in 1999.
– I wouldn’t have stayed if it wasn’t for the culture. We have a lot of fun together. I think I can speak for all of us when I say we all believe we can achieve great things together, says Øystein.
Øyvind and Øystein are driven by the dynamic and global nature of their department. They interact with diverse customers and cultures, handling a wide variety of inquiries – from urgent requests to projects years ahead. Their commitment is always to provide exceptional service and to respond to all inquiries on the same day.
– It’s incredibly rewarding with satisfied customers. That is all the motivation we need, Øyvind tells us.

– Selling air power systems may seem complex, but everything can be learned. We don’t expect people to know much about compressed air at all on their first day, Øyvind explains.
– It’s the willingness to learn and the personality that matters the most, says Øystein.
